Sewage Treatment Plant Maintenance in Witley, Godalming

Alton Facility Services attended a property in Witley, Godalming, to service a sewage treatment plant. The system was checked and tested, with advice given after the plant was found to still be heavily sludged.

The Challenge

The treatment plant required a service visit and operational check. Although the customer advised that the plant had recently been emptied, the system was still found to be very sludgy.

A heavily sludged treatment plant can affect performance, so the team needed to check the system and provide clear advice on the next maintenance step.

The Solution

• Attended site to complete the treatment plant service.
• Checked and tested the treatment plant system.
• Confirmed the blower was operating as it should be.
• Inspected the chamber condition and sludge level.
• Advised that another load should be taken out because the system was still very sludgy.

The Result

The treatment plant service was completed, the blower was confirmed to be working and no further mechanical issues were reported during the visit.

The customer was advised to arrange further emptying to reduce the sludge level and support the long-term performance of the treatment plant.
