The Dynamic Duo Have Joined Forces in the Fight Against FOG!
You may already know Stu as The Blockage Hunter — tackling troublesome drains and tracking down those hidden culprits causing chaos underground.
Now, he’s got backup.
Introducing Mark, the Robyn to Stu’s Batman, joining forces to help customers take on one of the biggest villains in drainage: FOG.
FOG stands for Fats, Oils and Grease — and while it might seem harmless going down the sink, it can quickly build up inside pipework, causing slow drainage, bad smells, and full blockages.
When you call us out for a blocked drain, you may see this duo arrive ready to investigate, clear the issue, and offer practical advice to help stop it happening again.
Keep an eye out for our upcoming video, where Stu and Mark show exactly what pesky FOG can do once it makes its way past your drains — and why it’s so important to stop it at the source.

Why early drainage investigation matters
The update “The Dynamic Duo Have Joined Forces in the Fight Against FOG” highlights a common drainage lesson: the visible blockage is not always the full problem. Grease, roots, damaged joints and poor falls can all cause repeat failures.
AFS can clear the immediate restriction and then check whether further investigation is justified. A CCTV survey can show cracks, displaced joints, root ingress or collapsed sections that cannot be confirmed from the surface.
The aim is to match the response to the fault. Some sites need jetting and routine maintenance. Others need a local repair, relining or replacement pipework.
If you have a similar issue, send the postcode, a short description and any useful photos to AFS. We can then confirm whether a site visit, survey, service appointment or written quotation is the right next step.
- Fault finding before repair
- CCTV surveys where useful
- Commercial and domestic support
